The opening ceremony featured a welcome speech by Engineer Samer Majali, Vice Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines, where he expressed pride in hosting this significant event. The continuous support of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian government over the years strengthens the position of Royal Jordanian Airlines as a central hub in the aviation industry, affirming Jordan's role as a bridge between East and West.”
Majali also thanked the Minister of Transport, Engineer Wessam Tahatamoni, for her presence and representation of His Majesty the King at the event, noting that her participation reflects the Jordanian government’s ongoing support for the aviation sector. He also extended thanks to Minister of Tourism Lina Annab and Minister of Economic Affairs Mohannad Shehadeh for their attendance, highlighting Jordan’s commitment to strengthening the tourism and economic sectors.
