What is eSIM?

eSIM is the digital or electronic version of the familiar SIM card and is installed in the device.

With eSIM technology, subscribers can easily switch between personal and work numbers. In addition, this feature allows the subscriber to install multiple SIM cards in the device without the need to use a traditional SIM card in the future.

How to activate your eSIM?

Apple Devices

1 Make sure your device is connected to the internet.

2 Make sure that your iPhone software is update to 12.1 version or any later update.

3 Go to your phone settings and choose “cellular".

4 Choose “Add Cellular Plan".

5 You will be requested to open the camera (or it will automatically open) and the statement “Scan the QR Code" will appear. Scan the QR code.

6 Once the eSIM is active you will get a notification. Choose “Add Cellular Plan" to continue and then follow the instructions on the screen.

7 In case you are using two SIM cards, you will have to select a primary and a secondary SIM card. You can do so immediately after activating your Esim

Samsung Devices

1 Make sure your device is connected to the internet.

2 Make sure your device is updated with latest software.

3 Go to settings.

4 Press on Connections.

5 Select SIM card manager.

6 Then press on Add Mobile plan.

7 You will be requested to open the camera (or it will automatically open) and the statement “Scan the QR Code" will appear. Scan the QR code.

8 Once the eSIM is active you will get a notification. Choose “Add Mobile Plan" to continue and then follow the instructions on the screen.

9 In case you are using two SIM cards, you will have to select a primary and a secondary SIM card. You can do so immediately after activating your eSIM

Huawei Devices

1 Make sure your device is connected to the internet.

2 Make sure your device is updated with latest software.

3 Go to settings.

4 Press on Mobile Network.

5 Choose SIM Management.

6 Go to SIM 2.

7 Press on Add eSIM.

8 You will be requested to open the camera (or it will automatically open) and the statement “Scan the QR Code" will appear. Scan the QR code.

9 Once the eSIM is active you will get a notification. Choose “Add Mobile Plan" to continue and then follow the instructions on the screen.

10 In case you are using two SIM cards, you will have to select a primary and a secondary SIM card. You can do so immediately after activating your eSIM

Notes

Keep your QR/activation code in a safe place to avoid any misuse. We also recommend that you keep an electronic copy in your records, especially if you change your phone or accidentally delete the eSIM's configuration file from your phone.
